One of the main scenes in the Bourne Ultimatum storyline is when Jason Bourne is being monitored in Waterloo Station via the CCTV system that has been hacked. But is hacking a CCTV system actually possible?

The likelihood is that no hacking would be needed for the CIA to access UK CCTV cameras. The UK has intelligence-sharing agreements in place with the US (among other countries), and as such, can probably access the CCTV footage of Waterloo Station with very little ado.
I agree 100%. The UK is like a prison. Make sence to try and keep the inmates under 24 hour supervision. As the americans are the ones needing to cover there ass's 24/7 it would make good sence they would have access to places of public gathering be it in the US or over seas.
If the master controlling computer is on a modem connection, then the system can be hacked. However, if there is no connection to the internet, or to outside sources, then the system cant be hacked, cause theres no way to access it from the outside. Most CCTV systems in public areas, such as in train stations, are connected to a larger network. This may allow the system to be controlled from an outside source.
I watched couple days ago, but i didn't pay attantion everything, now i have had little bit free time, i am watching very carefully. I love this movie. Thank for opening this blog guys

In an case, civilian hackers would have had to go through a deep and time-comsuming procedure, but yes, it actually IS possible to hack into the CCTV system of either a bank, or the waterloo station, or heathrow.
every cctv computerised system has a webpage or just a server:port remote access. you do have to provide username and password for access. A trainer could theoretically find them for you. And just a glance for the experienced eye, to a CCTV terminal monitor, is sometimes more than enough to gather all but the password, which you should guess. (or have a powerful PC guess for you in some days.
notice the timespan - yes, it would take days.
To hack the the CCTV camera networks, means it has got to be done from the inside. Do not believe all you read, or see on the movies, they are just books and movies. The CCTV for this movie was a one time thing.
It is very easy to "hack" CCTV networks.. You can google for specific patterns in URLs, and you will find a web interface for some CCTV camera's..

I figured, sitting at work and being very bored, that I'd try and emulate my favourite movie character of all time, Jason Bourne. When I searched for the name, I couldn't believe I actually got a hit!!! I laughed out loud and my supervisor caught me, resulting in a two day suspension. But hell was it worth it, you got me good!!!
